The University of Technology is one of the most popular University that focuses on STEM subjects in Iraq. UoT recruits high quality students at undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Some departments delver high quality research and publish in Q1 journals, patients and high quality conferences. In the recent year, the University of Technology did great progress on employability/entrepreneurship to try to make social impact within the Iraqi society. Keep it up and I am happy to support those activities

I have conducted a series of workshops about “How to Improve Research Visibility and Impact” in late September and early October 2021 at the University of Technology-Iraq. I found the university led by professional researchers who think and act to promote their university in the highest possible educational and professional level. The high ranked decision makers in the University of Technology-Iraq are supported by very cooperative lecturers who are also passionate to move upward the global level. All lecturers, researchers, and staff are very kind and friendly with their clients

UOT is one the best S&E universities in Iraq and in the middle east. It's well managed and organised with a great academic staff. The teaching atmosphere is conductive to creative and productive learning. Everyone is so friendly and cooperative, aiming to give the students the knowledge, skills, confidence and experience to help them make their world better. Staff and researchers work together on the campus, and the professors and lecturers are easily approachable for discussions and informal consultations. This interaction between students and teachers is an essential part of academic life at UoT. My work with them as a Ministry adviser has been filled with some of the best times of my life

I gave a seminar presentation to the University of Technology - Iraq in a remote (Zoom) setting. I was very happy with the experience. Many people attended my presentation. Many participants had questions. The hosts from UoT were very professional and kind

I was kindly invited to give a keynote lecture; the admin process was well managed, there was a quite large and diverse audience that was quite engaged and we had a follow q&a section; my understanding is that there is a lot of potential in terms of research impact in various sectors; I am satisfied with my experience so far and I am interesting in further collaborations such as projects, workshops. Webinars for research publications etc

My recent interaction with the research team at UoT Baghdad was excellent. We have manged to discuss possible international collaborations and setting up strategic direction to the university. This resulted into several projects and publication in the area of Renewable Energy and Global Warming. The discussion was led by Vice President Research and Development Professor Hayder Abed Dhahad.
